Transcend ABA is a non for profit agency that was created out of a need. Our board of directors are parents that have children with autism that needed services. The head of our board and founder of our agency, Mrs. Waldman was struggling to find services that would help her daughter. She had been diagnosed with Cerebal Palsy and autism. The Waldmans tried many different forms of treatment from sensory integration to occupational therapy. In searching for treatments that would help their family they discovered ABA therapy that focused on a verbal behavior approach. Their daughter, Pessy thrived with a combination of ABA and sensory integration. She began being able to interact with people around her and her behaviors decreased dramatically. After sharing their success with other families that also had children with autism they decided to create ABA Pathways. These families all shared the same goal of helping not only children but their families. As they started to grow outside of the original families from word of mouth and referals they decided that they wanted to help as many families as they could regardless of their limitations. It was then they became Transcend ABA and have begun working towards their goal of helping all families of children with autism.
